Civil CADD Designer

JCW Group has partnered with an award-winning, employee-owned engineering consulting firm to place a Civil CADD Designer or OpenRoads Modeler supporting utility and multidisciplinary infrastructure projects for clients nationwide. This role sits at the intersection of design leadership and quality assurance, serving as the primary CAD resource on assigned projects from concept through construction documents.

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead creation of construction drawings for utility and site infrastructure, using Bentley OpenRoads for surface modeling, utility alignments, profiles, grading design, and clash detection
• Perform self-checks and peer reviews to ensure design accuracy, manage redlines and revisions, and mentor junior team members on assigned projects

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of relevant experience in Bentley OpenRoads Modeling/Geopak or Inroads; Associate’s degree in CADD, drafting, engineering technology, or equivalent practical experience
• Advanced proficiency in surface creation, alignments, profiles, and grading; experience with Civil 3D, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office a plus
