Construction Inspector – Substations

We are partnering with a leading utility engineering firm to hire a Construction Inspector to support substation construction projects. You’ll provide quality assurance, ensure compliance with design plans and standards, and help deliver safe, reliable, and on-time work.

What You’ll Do

• Inspect substation construction and track work progress

• Prepare daily reports and coordinate with contractors

• Review shop drawings and RFIs for compliance

• Apply industry electrical and safety codes, including NEC, NFPA 70

• Provide technical guidance to field personnel

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of construction experience, lineman or utility background preferred

• OSHA 10 and 30 Certified

• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Knowledge of substation construction and electrical systems up to 60 kV

• Able to read and interpret plans and specifications
