On behalf of a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer, we are looking for an experienced Department Head of Inspection in North Rhine-Westphalia. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the high-quality and efficient inspection of parenteral drugs, including manual and semi-automated visual checks.

Your Responsibilities:

• Leadership and performance management of team members, including coaching and development
• Planning and optimization of workforce deployment with ownership of cost center budgets
• Continuous improvement of inspection lead times and operational efficiency
• Oversight and enhancement of GMP-compliant batch documentation and change control activities
• Standardization and optimization of inspection, logistics, and organizational processes using Lean Manufacturing and 6S principles

Your Profile:

• Completed vocational training with further qualification as a Meister/Techniker, or a degree in pharmaceutical sciences, engineering, or a related field
• Over 5 years of experience leading cross-functional teams, ideally within pharmaceutical production or aseptic manufacturing
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
