On behalf of our client, a global leader in laboratory testing services, we are seeking a Lab Manager (f/m/d) to oversee the day-to-day operations of a commercial analytical laboratory in Utrecht. This is a unique opportunity to lead a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and continued success of a high-performing laboratory.

Tasks:

• Lead and develop the laboratory team to ensure high-quality and timely analytical results
• Maintain clear and effective communication with clients to support strong customer relationships
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and uphold quality in testing and reporting (e.g. ISO 17025, GMP)
• Oversee laboratory workflows and processes to maximize efficiency and productivity
• Monitor and manage laboratory budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings and driving profitable growth

Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Technology, or a related field required
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing operations within a commercial laboratory setting
• Strong background in working within regulated environments (ISO 17025, GMP, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with analytical instruments and troubleshooting techniques
