Senior Electrical Engineer – Substation Protection & Control

JCW Group is partnering with a leading energy company delivering advanced utility projects. We’re seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead substation protection & control design and manage projects from concept through completion.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead protection & control design for substations and transmission lines up to 500kV
• Perform coordination, fault current, voltage drop, and insulation studies
• Develop schematics, panel layouts, relay settings, and SCADA integration
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee project deliverables
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams

What We’re Looking For:

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering (PE license or ability to obtain within 1 year)
• 5–7+ years’ experience in substation P&C and utility systems
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Utility industry experience highly desired
