Quality Manager, Transmission Line and Substations

JCW Group is working with a leading utility engineering firm to place a Quality Manager overseeing transmission line and substation construction projects in Washington State. This role leads quality assurance efforts to ensure compliance with design plans and industry standards, supporting safe, reliable, on time delivery.

You Will Be Required To:

• Direct quality assurance programs across transmission and substation construction, reviewing shop drawings and RFIs for compliance
• Apply industry electrical and safety codes, including NEC and NFPA 70, and provide technical guidance to field personnel
• Coordinate with contractors and prepare quality documentation and reports

Required Experience:

• 5+ years of construction experience, lineman or utility background preferred, with OSHA 10 and 30 certification
• 115 kV to 230 kV construction or construction inspection experience
• Strong communication skills, with ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
