An international bank with a broad wholesale product offering is expanding its North American franchise. This VP-level role is a pure origination seat: generate new corporate banking relationships and build a book of US and Canadian corporate and FI clients largely from scratch. You’ll carry credit risk ownership on your portfolio and line manage an Assistant RM.

What you’ll do:

• Originate new US and Canadian corporate relationships, a hunting mandate, not portfolio caretaking
• Travel to meet target clients, conduct due diligence, and close from first contact to close
• Match client needs to the bank’s corporate lending and product set, working with Credit Admin, Operations, and Bank counsel
• Own credit risk monitoring on your portfolio, including annual reviews and covenant compliance
• Maintain KYC, AML, and BSA compliance across your book
• Line manage an Assistant RM

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s required, Master’s preferred
• 5+ years’ international banking experience
• 3+ years marketing to US corporate clients
• Strong knowledge of trade finance, receivables, and corporate lending
• Independent, resilient, strong communicator
