Title: Junior Project Manager Position Overview Synopsys is strengthening operational rigor and accelerating execution across its IPG and SSG businesses. To support this effort, the SVP Office is hiring a highly motivated and proactive Junior Project Manager who will report directly to the Technical Chief of Staff to the Senior Vice President. This role is ideal for someone early in their project or program management career who wants high visibility, fast learning, and direct exposure to senior leadership, while also developing strong operational and administrative execution skills. Working as part of the SVP Office, you will support both day-to-day operational needs and cross-functional project initiatives, helping ensure the SVP and Chief of Staff can operate with maximum focus and effectiveness. This is a hybrid role: part project coordination, part operational support, and part executive administrative support. The role includes meaningful, hands on administrative responsibilities, including scheduling, meeting coordination, and execution support, and will directly help offload work from both the Technical Chief of Staff and the SVP’s Executive Assistant. The ideal candidate understands that strong administrative execution is foundational to effective leadership, project delivery, and organizational impact. Key Responsibilities Project Coordination & Execution • Support and coordinate multiple projects and operational initiatives across IPG & SSG • Track deliverables, milestones, and commitments; proactively follow up to drive accountability • Maintain project plans, documentation, and action trackers • Help structure ambiguous work and surface risks or blockers early Reporting, Metrics, & Dashboards • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and progress summaries • Support leadership readiness for reviews, operational meetings, and planning cycles • Ensure reporting consistency, clarity, and accuracy across teams Communication & Leadership Support • Draft concise, executive-ready materials, presentations, and status updates • Assist in preparing agendas, pre-read materials, and follow-up communications • Facilitate coordinated communication across cross-functional teams Operational & Administrative Support (Core Responsibility) This is a core and expected component of the role and a key enabler of the SVP Office’s effectiveness. • Manage or coordinate schedules, recurring meetings, and leadership check-ins, including hands-on calendar management across multiple stakeholders • Assist with meeting logistics, note-taking, and follow-up tracking • Support the Executive Assistant with operational and administrative tasks and serve as backup when needed, with the goal of reducing overload and ensuring seamless SVP Office operations • Maintain trackers, run reports, and provide day-to-day operational and administrative support Qualifications Required • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • 1–4 years of experience in project coordination, operations, administrative support, or related roles • Strong organizational and time-management skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace • Comfort working with incomplete information and driving clarity Preferred • Experience supporting or interacting with senior leaders or executive teams • Familiarity with project or task management tools (Asana, Jira, MS Project, etc.) • Experience with dashboards, reporting, or structured summaries • Understanding of basic project management methods • Experience using AI productivity tools
Overview We are seeking an Associate R&D Engineer to support a small, collaborative coatings R&D team in the Southwest Metro. This role is ideal for a recent graduate (0–2 years experience) with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry who enjoys hands-on lab work and thrives in a less formal, entrepreneurial environment. The position will begin as a 6-month contract, with the intent to convert to a full-time employee based on performance and business needs. This individual will contribute to experimental design and hands-on development of chemical coatings, including bonding proprietary coatings to a variety of customer-provided substrates. Key Responsibilities Execute experiments based on prepared experimental test plans Support experimental design and assist in development of coating formulations and bonding techniques Perform hands-on laboratory work including surface preparation, coating application, and testing Record experimental findings in laboratory notebooks following best practices Assist in analyzing experimental data and preparing charts, summaries, and conclusions Follow detailed verbal and written instructions from senior R&D engineers Read and interpret technical articles, reports, and customer specifications Provide verbal updates and present experimental findings to the R&D team Support technical report writing and documentation Maintain general understanding of quality systems and production documentation Utilize basic CAD tools (training available if needed) to support technical drawings Assist with general lab organization, equipment use, and safety compliance Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (required) 0–2 years of experience (internships and academic lab work acceptable) Hands-on laboratory experience Basic understanding of scientific method and experimental design Strong attention to detail and documentation skills Ability to work in a small team environment with evolving priorities Preferred Skills Exposure to coatings, adhesives, or surface chemistry Experience with data analysis and chart preparation Familiarity with CAD (can be trained) Comfort working outside of a highly structured corporate environment Top Technical Skills Experimental design Hands-on lab experience Ability to work effectively in a non-traditional, small-company setting Work Environment Small, collaborative coatings company Hands-on R&D laboratory setting Opportunity for growth into a full R&D Engineer role upon conversion This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career chemist to gain hands-on coatings development experience and grow within a dynamic R&D environment.
