You will act as a key legal advisor to the business across products, marketing and sales activities. Working closely with senior leadership, regulators and external counsel, you will ensure legal excellence and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice across Life Insurance products, marketing and distribution activities, including customer and intermediary agreements

• Draft, review and negotiate contracts with distribution and business partners

• Instruct and manage external legal counsel, including oversight of litigation across all court instances where required

• Assess and respond to customer complaints from a legal perspective

• Support communication and correspondence with the Liechtenstein supervisory authority

• Provide legal input into the design, development and ongoing enhancement of Life Insurance products

• Conduct legal review of policy documentation, contract amendments and benefit processing forms, and perform ongoing legal monitoring within your remit

Experience Required

• Qualified lawyer (law degree or equivalent legal qualification)

• Professional experience within an insurance or financial services environment

• Strong knowledge of Life Insurance law and regulatory frameworks

• Experience advising on distribution agreements and intermediary contracts

• Fluent German and Italian language skills; additional English, French or Dutch language skills are advantageous

You will lead the design and optimisation of Unit-Linked Life Insurance and IDD-compliant solutions. Working cross-functionally with legal, IT, actuarial and distribution teams, you will drive product excellence from concept to launch.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development of new Life Insurance products, with a focus on Unit-Linked solutions
• Manage and enhance existing IDD-compliant product portfolios across multiple jurisdictions
• Define product specifications, benefits structures, pricing parameters and documentation
• Translate regulatory and market requirements into clear business and system requirements
• Collaborate with IT teams to develop and optimise quotation and digital application systems
• Oversee preparation and maintenance of policy terms & conditions and sales documentation
• Act as subject matter expert for internal stakeholders including distribution, compliance and operations

Experience Required

• Proven experience in Life Insurance product management
• Strong expertise in Unit-Linked Life Insurance and/or IDD-regulated insurance products
• Several years’ experience within a life insurance company or financial services provider
• Solid understanding of European insurance regulatory frameworks
• ​Analytical mindset with the ability to manage complex product development initiatives
• Strong communication; minimum C1 level German. Other European languages are a plus.
