Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to the pathology team, ensuring high standards in diagnostic accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Supervise, mentor, and support team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous professional development.
• Oversee daily operations in the pathology department, including case management, workload distribution, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, quality standards, and accreditation requirements.
• Collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and external partners to enhance diagnostic capabilities and contribute to research initiatives.
• Drive process improvements and implement innovative technologies to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications & Skills

• FMH in Pathology or EU Board-certified.
• Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a pathology or diagnostics setting..
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a team effectively.
• Fluent in English and German (French is a plus).
• Willingness to do a additional specialisation, including Cytology or Molecular Pathology is a bonus.
