Instrumentation & Controls Engineer (Nuclear)

JCW Group have partnered with a major player in the energy sector, supporting modernization and compliance efforts across the Southeast, specifically on high-impact initiatives with one of the region’s most recognized utilities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support I&C system design efforts in compliance with nuclear industry standards and regulatory requirements, with a strong focus on Ovation Logic control systems
• Oversee the installation, integration, and testing of firewalls and critical network infrastructure within nuclear environments
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery, providing technical oversight on cybersecurity posture, system integration, and design integrity

Requirements:

• Proven experience with nuclear design processes and NRC-compliant engineering practices
• Hands-on experience with Ovation Logic (Emerson Ovation DCS) in design, configuration, or support environments
• Experience with Cisco network hardware (including firewalls) and demonstrated capability installing or configuring networking systems within nuclear facilities
