About the Role

At JCW Group, we’re partnering with a well-established regional bank to recruit a Senior Accountant. This role sits within the bank’s Finance team and plays a key part in delivering accurate, timely, and insightful management reporting to support executive decision-making.

Reporting to senior finance leadership, you will be responsible for preparing management accounts, analyzing financial performance, and partnering with business leaders across the bank to provide actionable financial insight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver monthly management reporting packages for senior leadership
  • Analyze financial results, key metrics, and variances versus budget and forecast
  • Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
  • Partner with department leaders to provide financial insight and performance analysis
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial data
  • Assist with process improvements, reporting enhancements, and automation initiatives
  • Support internal and regulatory reporting requirements as needed

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA preferred (or CPA-eligible)
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting or financial reporting experience
  • Banking or financial services experience strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial reporting systems a plus
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented, collaborative, and proactive approach
