JCW is partnering with a commercial bank based in the Greater NYC Area area to hire a Portfolio Manager. This is a full-time opportunity supporting a book of CRE relationships with a notable concentration in Multi Family, Industrial and Retail properties. 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to evaluate borrower creditworthiness, including building financial models and stress testing transactions
• Track portfolio performance, flag deteriorating credits, and ensure covenant obligations are documented appropriately
• Review loan files to verify risk ratings reflect current credit quality and prepare supporting materials for any adjustments
• Compile borrower financial data, collateral details, and credit histories to support loan and credit documentation

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of commercial banking experience
• Solid understanding of credit products and the regulatory environment governing commercial lending
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; knowledge of Abrigo is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
