Senior Civil 3D CADD Designer

JCW Group has partnered with an award-winning, employee-owned engineering consulting firm to place a Senior Civil 3D CADD Designer supporting utility infrastructure projects for clients nationwide. This role sits at the intersection of design leadership and quality assurance, serving as the primary CADD resource on assigned projects from concept through construction documents.

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead creation of construction drawings for utility infrastructure projects, including pipelines, pump stations, and treatment plants, using Civil 3D for surface modeling, utility alignments, profiles, and site grading
• Perform self-checks and peer reviews to ensure design accuracy, manage redlines and revisions, and maintain consistency across project documentation
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and interdisciplinary teams, mentoring junior designers and supporting client interactions and design review meetings

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of relevant Civil 3D design experience focused on utility infrastructure; Bachelor’s degree in Engineering CAD or related field, or equivalent experience considered in lieu
• Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D, with experience in Bluebeam Revu, Adobe products, and Microsoft Office Suite; Autodesk Certification a plus
• Strong familiarity with civil engineering design criteria, codes, and standards, with excellent organizational and communication skills
