Substation Construction Inspector

JCW Group has partnered with a major regulated electric utility to place a Substation Construction Inspector on a statewide capital projects program across Georgia. This role sits at the intersection of field oversight and quality assurance, keeping contract crews safe, on-spec, and on schedule.

Role Responsibilities:

• Inspect and monitor contract crews across multiple active substation construction projects
• Conduct Quality Value Assessments and maintain daily logs, project condition reports, and CATEE documentation
• Coordinate with Design, Transmission Maintenance, System Operations, and Project Management to keep projects on track

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of substation construction experience with prior oversight or leadership background
• Strong working knowledge of transmission construction methods, standards, and safety guidelines
• Competent in Microsoft Office; able to manage multiple deadlines and administrative requirements independently
